This artwork combines photography and painting to create a layered, dreamlike composition. Swirling brushstrokes in soft peach, rose, and cream tones float over a photographic background of rippling pink water. Hints of blue sky and mosaic-like structures peek through the painted forms, merging natural and abstract elements into a fluid, atmospheric scene.

The artwork is part of the series In Soft Motion in which I capture the fleetingness and beauty of transient moments. I set out in search of moments of lightness, tranquillity and a deep connection with nature. Photography and painting merge into flowing visual worlds in which memories, moods and fragments of nature invite us to pause and appreciate the fleeting. By painting over photographic fragments - such as the play of light on water or wilting flowers - I focuse on the special in the supposedly inconspicuous. The fragility and silent decay of my motifs remind of the uniqueness of life and the preciousness of the moment.
